Trainings


Through our experience and the participants needs KYA-Women Program have 4 main topics- gender mainstreaming, advocacy, leadership skill, security and laws (to talk about some laws that related to women) to give them missing skills to resolve problems and to protect themselves. Group discussions are used to enable women to express their own opinions and to be encouraged and promoted by KYA staff to participate in society and all levels of public work.

How we do it

In each province we have a trainer. The target groups are young females and males between 16 and 35 years old. They are teachers, trainees, students, civil servants, dropouts, unemployed youth, housewives and farmers.

Chapter 2

Scope of The Implementation

Article 2

Domestic violence is referred to the violence that happens and could happen towards:

  • Husband and wife
  • Dependent children
  • Persons living under the roof of house and who are dependent of the households.

Article 3

Domestic violence is required to be prevented in time effectively and efficiently and that it is required to take the most appropriate measures in order to protect the victims or the persons who could be vulnerable.

Violence includes:

  • Acts affecting life
  • Acts affecting physical integrity
  • Tortures or cruel acts
  • Sexual aggression.

Article 7

Sexual aggression includes:

  • Violent sex
  • Sexual harassment
  • Indecent exposures.

Chapter 7

Penalties

Article 35

Any acts of domestic violence that are considered as criminal offences shall be punished under the penal law in effect.
