At just 18, Sern Kham Auon from Taveng Krom commune in Ratanakiri is making a difference through his leadership in the Child and Youth Club under the Time to Act (T2A) project, supported by Khmer Youth Association and Plan International Cambodia. Once hesitant to lead, Kham Auon has grown into a confident advocate, promoting peer education, raising awareness on child marriage, and leading youth-driven initiatives. Backed by his parents and community, he’s now inspiring change and empowering others to delay early marriage and invest in their futures.
At just 21, Bean Savatey from Chhouk Sar village, Siem Reap, has become a powerful voice for child protection and youth empowerment. As a leader of the Child and Youth Club under the We Protection Project (WePP), supported by Khmer Youth Association, she actively engages with local authorities, raises awareness on child rights, and leads trainings on key social issues. Her participation in high-level provincial meetings has been a transformative experience, boosting her confidence and leadership skills.
At just 18 years old, Pnork Phanut from Presh Dak village in Siem Reap is leading by example. As a Community Volunteer with the Girls in Stronger Action! project by Khmer Youth Association and Plan International Cambodia, Phanut advocates for gender equality and proudly represents the LGBTQI+ community. From overcoming personal challenges to training youth on gender-based violence and early marriage, he’s now a confident voice for change, promoting inclusivity and youth empowerment in his community.
Yoeung Nich, a 23-year-old from Koh Peak Commune, is making a powerful impact as a Community Social Worker (CSW) through the Khmer Youth Association and Plan International Cambodia. Starting as a youth club member, her journey from learning about child protection to tackling real cases—like addressing early marriage, school dropout, and online abuse—shows her deep commitment to supporting vulnerable children. Through training and community engagement, she has become a strong voice for change.
Khoe Srey Pom from Kohs Nheak District, Mondol Kiri Province, highlighted the program's impact on youth empowerment, emphasizing how learning about their rights fosters confidence and encourages participation in community decision-making. She shared that she previously felt too young and uninformed to engage in commune meetings or access community information but now realizes her ability to contribute meaningfully.
The novel deals with the dreams, loves and struggles of gay people. SOGIESC 101 will provide knowledge and answer the questions of LGBT people.

Chanmakara Heun, a 22-year-old university student, played a pivotal role as a dedicated member of the program team during the 9th Angkor Youth Camp held in Siem Reap province from December 16–20, 2023. His commitment to volunteer work, demonstrated through previous engagements with various NGOs, equipped him with valuable knowledge and insights that he eagerly brought to the Angkor Youth Camp.
